Food Swap

Just got back from our food swap. Now all these ingredients are just a faded memory and our freezer is stocked for another month! This food swap has really turned out to be a sweet deal for our family. I prepared seven recipes of cavatini and froze them a couple of days ago. Tonight, I met with my group and exchanged dishes. I came home with six different meals I can pull out of my freezer to feed my family next month. Initially preparing the meals to freeze is a little overwhelming, but the convenience of being able to pull a meal out of the freezer is well worth it. Less cooking leaves time for more interesting blogging!!!

Congrats Courtney!

Last night, PaPa, G, the girls, and I headed over to Rock Creek for their homecoming game. My niece, Courtney, was up for homecoming. It was a gorgeous evening to watch Courney's special event. Ashton says she looked liked "a beautiful princess!"

Personal Space?

As we went to wake the girls for school this morning, it amazed me that just last night we were hearing complaints from each about a lack of personal space. It did not seem to be an issue now! Madison has her own bed in her own room, but 95% of the time, this is what we find when we go to wake the girls. This bed is actually even a queen size bed. I'm beginning to wonder if we really need to invest in a house with enough rooms that Jensen and Ashton do not have to share anymore. My suspicion is they still would manage to find a way to invade each other's personal space!

Happy 39th!

Remember when 39 used to seem so old? Not so much any more!!! On the positive side, the girls are sure to keep their dad young for a few more years!
